Rail&Sea Logistics Group was founded in Austria in 1997 by Robert Greisberger. Due to the new logistics challenges caused by the fall of the Iron Curtain and due to the expansion process of the European Union, new markets opened up in the mid-nineties for innovative transportation companies in the heart of Europe.

Rail&Sea Logistics GmbH has developed innovations for more than 20 years, which facilitate the transport market on the rails of Europe. From the JPT-Verladesystempatent (German loading system patent, end of the 1990-ies) up to the current GPS tracking system for every single train ride, thispower of innovation is the strength of Rail&Sea.

Milestones Rail&Sea

1997 November: foundation by Robert Greisberger. Development of integrated logistics concepts for the paper industry in Austria and Eastern Europe. Construction of bimodal paper and envelope terminals. Development of the company’s own IT system for railway and storage logistics.
